From lease price to the real cost per asset
Defects, maintenance, downtime and spare parts registered per container through digital checklists.
Ovinto brings every piece of information about your assets, from your own systems, partners, IoT devices and the daily work that fits in no system, into one environment where your teams manage, analyse and automate. Built over 20 years with the most demanding asset operators in the world.
Starts read-only on exports you already produce. No IT project. No core system replaced.
Used as their asset and fleet management environment by, among others
Most companies don’t know what their assets are doing, what they truly cost, or how many they really need. The data exists, but it is scattered across systems that were never built to talk to each other.
All asset data in one place: internal systems, partner portals, every IoT platform and the manual work in between. 100% visibility on status, certificates and real cost.
Analyses fleet owners rarely have: true cost per asset, utilisation and idle time, bottlenecks, what-if fleet simulations and cost reconciliation.
Rules that automate repetitive work and actively steer your existing applications, teams and partners.
The market keeps maintenance, certificates and equipment lifecycle (EAM) apart from moving fleets. Ovinto grew from fleet management into both over 20 years, driven by what our customers needed, a combination you will hardly find elsewhere.
No hard-coded package. Your users build their own views, analyses and automations, including for assets and exceptions your core systems don’t even know.
Our analyses run on a data model that understands demurrage clauses, maintenance regimes and certificates. Same data as a generic AI tool, but sharper and more correct answers.
We start with cost you are already carrying, on data you already have. No new process, no change for your customers, and typically paid back within months.
See asset by asset how many units you genuinely need.
Invoices checked against contracts and events before payment.
Warnings before a penalty starts, not an invoice afterwards.
True cost of ownership per asset, supplier and workshop.
Assets routed to a nearby workshop instead of returning empty.
Fuller loads, matched to each asset’s real specifications.
Growth absorbed by the platform instead of by new hires.
Settled in days on one shared, timestamped record.
Every month without action leaves the same profit on the table. Enter your own numbers.
Illustrative calculation. Ovinto typically reduces fleet operational spend by 5–8%, often considerably more.
Each result started as one friction on the operations floor, solved on data the customer already had.

Not sure how many assets you really need? A focused engagement that turns a suspicion into a board-ready business case within weeks.
With your operational team we pick the frictions with the fastest, most measurable payback.
We configure the first use case with your team on read-only exports. First results typically within weeks.
You expand use case by use case, only when each business case has proven itself.
Chemical rail and intermodal freight is one of the most demanding asset environments there is: hazardous goods, strict certification, multiple owners and a dozen parties touching the same unit. What works there works for any fleet.
Rail (tank) cars and supply chain efficiency across shippers, rail undertakings, lessors, ECMs and workshops.

IBCs in chemicals, supply and fascia racks in automotive, the assets that quietly disappear.
Yards, gates, weighbridges, loading installations and handling equipment as one whole.
No. Ovinto sits on top of your existing systems. It connects them, consolidates their asset data, adds analysis and steers them. Your core systems stay exactly as they are.
None to get started. The first use case runs on standard read-only exports, and you decide what goes into them, so no sensitive data has to be shared and there is no security exposure. IT typically joins later, once the value is proven.
First results typically within weeks, with payback within months. Cost-cutting use cases such as fleet size analysis and demurrage reduction are the fastest.
Most likely, if you recognise one of these: critical or high-value assets to manage; applications that don’t talk to each other; many exceptions and non-standard work; an operational manager who owns the problem; and pain that is measurable in money. Company size doesn’t matter. A fleet of a few hundred assets gets the same platform and payback logic as a global group.
You choose: our Customer Success team configures it for you, your team does it themselves, or, most commonly, we work together in short weekly sessions. Teams are typically comfortable with the basics within 8 to 10 weeks.
Simply and transparently, in three parts: a fixed-price use-case workshop, a monthly subscription with guaranteed Customer Success capacity (the base subscription covers 8 hours a month), and a usage-based licence scaled to the number of assets, transactions or connected sources. No enterprise licence negotiation to get started.
Plan a no-obligation introductory call. Twenty years of asset operations experience, applied to your fleet.
